Safety first
Fully fenced yards, pet-first-aid certified staff, and supervision from the moment your dog walks in to the moment you collect them.
Our Story
Hound Hotel is a small, airy daycare on Fetch Lane in Wilston, made for owners who can't work from home and need somewhere local they can genuinely trust. Your best mate spends the day playing, resting and being fussed over, then comes home happily tired.
Where good dogs stay.
How it started
Everyone on the street was heading back into the office, and nobody had anywhere nearby they trusted to leave their dog. Not a kennel out past the highway. Not asking the neighbour for a fourth favour in a fortnight. Somewhere close, calm and staffed by people who actually like dogs.
So we built it. A bright, open space five minutes from home, with room to run, shade to flop in, and small groups so nobody gets lost in the crowd. Same faces at drop-off every morning, so your dog knows exactly who they're walking in to see.
Because your dog isn't dropped in a pen and collected later. Every guest gets checked in, looked after all day, and tucked in for rest time. That's the whole idea, right down to the name.
Checked in
A proper hello at the door, a quick note on how they're travelling today, and into the right play group for their size and energy.
Looked after
Play in the big open-air yard, shade and water on tap, and a team member with eyes on every group the whole time.
Tucked in
Quiet rest time on a comfy bed in the middle of the day, because an over-tired dog is nobody's idea of a good evening.
What we stand for
They're simple, and they're the reason owners keep coming back to Fetch Lane.
Fully fenced yards, pet-first-aid certified staff, and supervision from the moment your dog walks in to the moment you collect them.
Dogs are matched by size, age and play style, in groups small enough that we know every name, quirk and favourite toy.
Photo updates during the day and a straight answer at pick-up. If your dog had a quiet one, you'll hear that too.
Shade, soft beds, cool floors and a proper rest period. Airy and calm beats loud and crowded, every single time.
The humans
Three people, a lot of tennis balls, and an unreasonable amount of love for other people's dogs.
Founder & Head of Belly Rubs
Em started Hound Hotel after one too many mornings watching neighbours stress about who'd have their dog. She's usually on the door at 6:30am, coffee in one hand, greeting everyone by name.
Daycare Lead
Josh runs the yard and sets the play groups each morning. He's pet-first-aid certified, endlessly patient, and the reason rest time actually happens on schedule.
Puppy Program Coordinator
Sofia looks after our under-12-months crew, turning wobbly new puppies into confident, well-mannered dogs. She takes the socialisation homework very seriously.
